Loudoun Hall has been in the Grimes family over 200 years. The Grimes family moved from Loudoun County, Virginia, in 1798, specializing in raising short-horned cattle.

Sylvester Grimes constructed the four room section of the house ca. 1812, In 1850 his son added the two story frame Greek revival portion. The home sits on 433.39 Acres and is approximately 3,260 square feet . Loudoun Hall is listed on the National register of Historical Places.



The family cemetery where many members of the Grimes family, continous occupants of the house, are buried.
